Supply Chain Director at Westinghouse

Brent Bowman, P.E., PMP has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Brent started their career at The Engineering Groupe, Inc. in 2003, where they served as a Project Manager/Engineer. During this time, they successfully managed various civil engineering projects, including residential, commercial, and public-sector projects. Brent was responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site analysis to plan production and approval. Brent also supervised a team of junior engineers and drafters and played a key role in conceptualizing and designing storm water management plans, road/pavement plans and profiles, and utility plans and profiles.

In 2009, Brent joined Westinghouse Electric Company, where they took on several managerial roles. Brent served as a Senior Engineer, China Project Engineering-Modules, where they managed China deliverables and customer commitments for Modules Engineering. Brent was also the Principal Engineer, China Technical Readiness/Response Team (CTRRT), where they handled the management of CTRRT issues and resolution of emergent issues, focusing on Haiyang site and Fabrication Facility issues. Brent then became the Manager, China Technical Readiness/Response Team-Engineering Readiness, where they led a project engineering team to deliver scope for China AP1000 Project contractual obligations.

In subsequent roles at Westinghouse, they undertook significant responsibilities. Brent served as the China Project Milestone Manager, overseeing the delivery of offsite scope to support major milestones for the China AP1000 projects. Brent was also appointed as the Domestic AP1000 Project Optimization Leader, responsible for augmenting cost and schedule performance for the construction of Turbine Island/Balance of Plant scopes for Domestic AP1000 projects. Furthermore, Brent held the position of Engineering Delivery Program Manager, where they oversaw the overall program management for engineering delivery to support AP1000 new-plant construction projects in the U.S. and China.

Their most recent role at Westinghouse is the Senior Engineering Manager, where they demonstrated their expertise in engineering management. Brent's current role as the Supply Chain Director reflects their continued growth and leadership within the organization.

Brent Bowman, P.E., PMP has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Penn State University, where they were recognized as the Top Student Award Winner. Brent also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from Trinity University. In addition, they are a certified Professional Engineer by the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds certifications as an NCEES Record Holder and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
