Dan Lipman

President, Energy Systems at Westinghouse

Dan Lipman serves as the President of Energy Systems at Westinghouse Electric Company since August 2024 and previously held the role of President at Beginning Energies International since January 2019, where advisory services are provided to nuclear energy companies, governments, and NGOs. With extensive experience in the nuclear industry, Lipman served as Vice President at the Nuclear Energy Institute from May 2012 to January 2019, overseeing supplier relations and international programs, and led international trade and export control activities as an on-loan executive. At Westinghouse Electric Company, Lipman progressed from Field Engineer to Senior Vice President across various roles, focusing on nuclear power plant operations, global supply chain management, and the commercialization of advanced reactor technologies. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Energy Technology and International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and completion of the Senior Executive Program at Stanford University.
