Diogo Costa is a seasoned professional in nuclear fuel manufacturing and engineering with extensive experience at Westinghouse Electric Company since July 2018, currently serving as Principal Engineer in Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing and Development. Previously, Diogo held positions as Senior Process Engineer and Industrial PhD Student at Westinghouse Electric Sweden AB. Diogo's background includes comprehensive knowledge in nuclear fuel characterization techniques and sintering processes, combined with skills in materials science, research, and effective communication within multicultural environments. Prior experience includes a Production Coordinator role and various supervisory positions at INB, as well as serving as an Assistant Professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Diogo holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in Metallurgical and Nuclear Materials Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
