Rickard Svensson

Rickard Svensson is an experienced project manager and engineer with a robust background in mechanical engineering, holding both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree from Chalmers University of Technology. Currently serving as Projektledare at Westinghouse Electric Company since August 2024, Rickard previously worked at Mälarenergi AB from December 2018 to August 2024, managing key projects including the Fuel Handling systems for Mälarenergi Unit 7 and overseeing the heat water storage initiative. Prior to that, Rickard held positions at Sweco, where project management and system engineering for plant heating and cooling were key responsibilities, and at Westinghouse Electric Company, where Rickard contributed as Principal Engineer on significant projects like SAFEND at Olkiluoto 2. Additional experience includes engineering roles at Vattenfall and collaborative research focused on CO2 management at both Vattenfall and Chalmers University.
