Derek Burt

Derek Burt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, currently serving as the Principal Enterprise Architect at WestJet since May 2013, where Derek has also held roles such as Interim Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Architect. Prior to WestJet, Derek was the Director of Strategy and Enterprise Architecture at the IT Office for the Government of Saskatchewan from April 2011 to April 2013 and worked at ISM as an Associate IT Architect from November 2002 to March 2011. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both obtained from the University of Regina and Campion College at the University of Regina. Derek Burt holds professional designations including FCIPS, I.S.P., and ITCP.
