Alun Champion

Alun Champion is an experienced enterprise architecture professional currently serving as the Interim Head of Enterprise Architecture at Takeda since November 2021, specializing in digital strategy and IT governance. Prior to this role, Alun was the Head of Enterprise Architecture at Grainger, focusing on maturing the Architecture Function and governing processes. At Thomson Reuters, Alun held the position of Principal Architect, leading the Enterprise Architecture for the Financial Products Division and overseeing a major technology platform transformation. Earlier in Alun's career, significant contributions were made at BP as Chief Domain Architect, where responsibility included developing the Data Centre and Hosting Infrastructure Strategy. Alun also spent time as a Senior Product Architect & Consultant at Mentisys Inc, working on innovative frameworks for business activity monitoring. Alun holds a BSc in Mathematics & Software Engineering from Coventry University.
