Karen Romanchuk

Director, Ancillary Revenue at WestJet

Karen Romanchuk, CFA has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Karen started their career at GE as an Analyst in the Financial Management Program and later became an Associate in the Corporate Audit Staff. In 2008, they joined Axia FibreNet as the Global Business Development Analyst before being promoted to Director of Finance and Strategic Analysis.

In 2013, Karen joined WestJet, where they held several roles including Senior Analyst in Corporate Development and Manager of Ancillary Products and Services. Karen also served as the Commercial Manager for the implementation of Swoop, a subsidiary of WestJet. In 2017, they briefly worked at Swoop as a Senior Leader in Marketing, Digital, and Communications.

Returning to WestJet in 2018, Karen assumed the position of Senior Manager in Loyalty Strategy and Business Development before being promoted to Director of Loyalty. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Ancillary Revenue at WestJet.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in finance, strategic analysis, business development, and loyalty strategy.

Karen Romanchuk, CFA holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance from McGill University.
