Katie (Robertson) Browne, CPA, MPAcc, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Assistant Financial Controller and Director of Financial Reporting and Compliance at WestJet since January 2017. Previous roles at WestJet include Manager of Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis and Team Lead of Corporate Planning. Prior to WestJet, Katie worked as a Senior Accountant in Audit at KPMG Canada, where expertise in reviewing client financial statements and internal controls was developed. Additional experience includes serving as a SAP Implementation Analyst at TransCanada, Marketing Coordinator at SendtoNews.com, Application Analyst at Nexen Inc., and Assessment Assistant at the City of Calgary. Katie holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, complemented by an academic exchange at Maastricht University.
