Joe Bly

Joe Bly has over two decades of experience in engineering and management roles within the plastics and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Manager of the Plastics Application & Development Lab at Westlake since July 2013, Joe has also held positions as Principal Engineer and Sr. Engineer in Technical Services and Development at the same company. Prior experience includes R&D Engineering Manager for US Operations at Tervita, where responsibilities encompassed technical engineering and large-scale equipment design. Joe further developed expertise as Sr. Project Engineer at Reynolds Packaging Group, overseeing new product development and capital equipment procurement. Earlier in their career, Joe held roles at Double H Plastics and FCI, focusing on process engineering and tooling procurement. Joe began a career in engineering as a Project Engineer at West Pharmaceutical Services following a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic and Polymer Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
