Nate Johnson

Nate Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in plant management and operations within the chemical manufacturing industry. Currently serving as Sr. Plant Manager at Westlake since August 2016, Nate has held various roles, including Sr. Operations Manager and Manufacturing Manager for Chloralkali & Derivatives, where responsibilities involve aligning commercial and manufacturing goals. Prior experience at Axiall, a Westlake Company, included managing operations of a VCM production unit and overseeing chlorine, brine, shipping, and logistics. Additionally, Nate worked as the Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security Superintendent at Georgia Gulf Chemicals & Vinyl, where responsibilities encompassed EHS&S management across multiple facilities. Nate holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Project Management from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
