Ngoc Vinh Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Engineer for Mitsui Vina and later for Fujitsu Computer Products of Vietnam, Inc. In 2001, they transitioned to BASF, where they held various roles including Business Executive, Regional Product Manager, and Business Manager. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the National Sales & Marketing Manager for Huhtamaki, followed by a role as the National Sales Manager at Pemara from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined DuPont as a Business Development Manager and later as the Country Marketing Manager. They then became the Country Manager for Crop Protection from 2011 to 2014. Between 2014 and 2015, Ngoc Vinh Nguyen served as a Six Sigma Black Belt for DuPont's ASEAN Crop Protection division. In 2016, they became a Senior Consultant for start-up projects and business management consultation, specializing in the Foods and Pharmaceutical industries. From 2016 to 2020, Ngoc Vinh Nguyen worked as the General Manager for Cummins DKSH (Vietnam) LLC. Currently, they hold the positions of Vietnam Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Business Director at Westlake Chemical since 2020.

Ngoc Vinh Nguyen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, which was obtained from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This degree was earned between 2001 and 2004. Prior to that, Nguyen completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Plastics and Polymers, at the same university from 1992 to 1997. In addition to these educational achievements, Nguyen has also obtained certifications in Six Sigma Black Belt in Sales & Marketing from DuPont in 2016, and Six Sigma Green Belt in Sales & Marketing from DuPont in 2011.
