Ruben Santillan has extensive experience in finance and business analysis, currently serving in the role of Financial Asset Optimization & Analysis at Westlake since 2020. Prior to this position, Ruben worked at Vopak from 2016 to 2020 as a Business Analyst focused on projects. Ruben's career includes significant tenures at BHP in finance from 2009 to 2016, as well as a consultancy role at Deloitte between 2006 and 2009. Early professional experience includes positions in accounting at Devon Energy and in finance at the US Treasury, both in 2004, as well as a role in tax at PricewaterhouseCoopers the same year. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston.
