Lynda Appel

Lynda Appel is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of EMIS and Student Data at Westlake City School District since April 2015, overseeing critical data management for state reporting and funding. Additionally, Lynda has been a member of the Westlake City Council representing Ward 1 since January 2014 and has held various roles within Westlake City Schools since 2008, primarily in special education, where responsibilities included managing databases and ensuring accurate state reporting. Lynda has also contributed to the Parent to Parent Network by developing web communications and has a background in operations analysis from PPG Industries. Lynda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Michigan.
