Larry Wallace has a range of work experience in engineering and management roles. Larry began their career at Texaco as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, where they oversaw capital projects, prepared cost estimates, and implemented maintenance schedules. Larry then joined GE Energy, where they served as a Controls Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Manufacturing Six Sigma Black Belt. In these roles, they handled hardware orders, reduced defects, and conducted audits. Larry later worked at General Electric as an Engineering/Technology Team Leader, where they designed control systems and improved panel design cycles. Larry then transitioned to GE Power and Water, where they managed a team responsible for gas turbine controls productization and achieved improvements in design quality and customer satisfaction. Larry further advanced their career at GE as a Senior Engineering Manager - Controls, contributing to strategic planning and on-time delivery of products and services. Recently, they joined Royal Building Products as the Director of Engineering.
Larry Wallace received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Power from Virginia Tech between 1991 and 1996. Larry then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Planning from Wichita State University, which they completed between 1997 and 2000.
