David Cerasale

David Cerasale has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career in 1997 as a Paralegal at Lucas, Nace, Gutierrez and Saks. In 2000, they worked as a Research Assistant at Princeton University and also served as a Field Supervisor at the U.S. Geological Survey. From 2002 to 2005, David worked as a Wildlife Biologist at the University of Montana, and then as an Independent Researcher at the US Forest Service in 2004. In 2005, they joined Cornell University as a Research Ecologist. David joined WestLand Resources in 2011, where they have held various positions including Staff Biologist and Environmental Planner, Senior Biologist and Natural Resources Technical Lead, Director of the Natural Resources Department, Principal, Partner, and currently as Senior Vice President.

From 1996 to 2000, David Cerasale attended William & Mary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a double major in Biology and History. David then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana from 2002 to 2005. Lastly, they earned a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution from Cornell University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2011.
