Jamie Carter

Jamie Carter has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as an Income Tax Assistant at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance in August 2018. They also served as a Student Ambassador at Illinois State University for The Illinois CPA Society from September 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, Jamie worked as a Summer Experience Participant at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in June 2019 and as a Valuation Accountant Intern at Archer Daniels Midland Company from May 2019 to August 2019. In 2020, Jamie held positions as a Tax Intern at Plante Moran from January 2020 to May 2020, and as a Junior Underwriter at AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation from August 2020 to January 2021. Following this, they returned to Plante Moran as an Assurance Staff from January 2021 to March 2022. Currently, Jamie is employed as a Project Controller at WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services starting from February 2023. Throughout their academic journey, Jamie was actively involved in organizations like the Student Accounting Society and the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance, where they served as a leader and president respectively.

Jamie Carter attended Illinois State University from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Accounting.
