Derrick Stielow, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at WestMET since October 2023, where Derrick previously held the role of Finance Manager. Prior experience includes Finance Manager for FP&A at Westmoreland Mining LLC from June 2018 to October 2023, and Senior Financial Analyst for FP&A. Earlier in their career, Derrick worked as Purchasing and Facilities Manager at Capital Power Corporation, managing facilities and procurement processes, and as a Financial Analyst within the Finance Development Program at the same organization. Derrick received a CPA, CMA degree from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada between 2013 and 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Alberta, earned in 2012. Derrick is also a student member of the Chartered Business Valuators Institute.
