John Sarra

John Sarra is an experienced arts educator and director, currently serving as the Director of Fine Arts and Chair of Visual Arts at Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis since August 2014. Prior to this role, John Sarra held various positions at Washington University in St. Louis from 1997 to 2014, including Senior Lecturer and Graduate Advisor in Painting at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. John's background includes experience as a woodworker at John Lesh Design and as an arts instructor in programs such as the Talented and Gifted Summer Program in Colleton County School District and the Gibbes Museum of Art. John Sarra earned an MFA in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in Studio Art from the College of Charleston.
