Charlotte Large

Charlotte Large currently serves as the Director of Clean Energy and Heat Networks at Westminster City Council since March 2025. Previous experience includes roles such as Strategy & Decarbonisation Director at Bring Energy and Director of Decarbonisation & Strategy at EQUANS. At the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Charlotte held key positions including Head of Heat Strategy and Programme, where responsibilities involved addressing the decarbonisation of heating, a significant contributor to UK greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to BEIS, roles at Islington Council focused on decentralized energy projects, and a long tenure at AECOM as Principal Consultant established foundational expertise. Charlotte Large holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter.
