Kaban M.

Kaban M. is an experienced professional currently serving as a Prevent Officer (Community Engagement) at Westminster City Council since March 2019, where responsibilities include leading community engagement initiatives to enhance understanding of the Prevent Strategy and delivering tailored workshops and resources to combat extremism. Prior to this role, Kaban studied for a Master's degree in Intercultural Conflict Management at Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin, focusing on radicalization processes. Past positions include Environmental Therapist at Lunden's home for people with disabilities, Peace Aspirant at MINOTENK, Community Worker at The Salvation Army, and case worker intern at START, among others. Kaban also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Inland Norway and has pursued various additional training in data and technology.
