Rikin Tailor

Rikin Tailor is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in local government finance. Currently serving as Director of Finance (Deputy s151 Officer) at Westminster City Council since May 2024, Rikin has previously held the position of Deputy Director of Local Audit at the Financial Reporting Council. Spanning over eight years at Westminster City Council, Rikin progressed through various roles, including Head of Corporate Finance and Finance lead for significant capital projects, demonstrating strategic leadership in governance processes and finance management for a capital programme valued at approximately £3 billion. Earlier career milestones include serving as Senior Accountant at the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and as a Trainee Accountant at Haringey Council. Rikin Tailor holds a BA (HONS) in Economics with Politics from the University of Portsmouth.
