Kathy Brittain Richardson

Kathy Brittain Richardson has a wealth of experience in academia and publishing. Kathy served as the President of Westminster College starting in July 2016. Prior to this, they held various roles at Berry College, including Provost, Professor of Communication, Acting Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Associate Provost and Dean of Academic Services. Kathy also contributed to the National Forensic Journal as Co-Editor and to Journalism & Communication Monographs as Editor.

Kathy Brittain Richardson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shorter College in 1979. Kathy then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism at The University of Georgia from 1981 to 1983. Kathy'seducational journey continued as they completed their Ph.D. in Mass Communication at The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1992.
