Lorraine Hellend

Lorraine Hellend has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Lorraine began their career as a Discipline Officer in the HM Prison Service, working in that role from 1991 to 2006. Lorraine then joined HEATHROW AIRPORT LIMITED in 2011, serving as a Security Officer until 2014 and later transitioning to the role of Aviation Security and Compliance Trainer until 2020.

In 2017, Lorraine joined Westminster Aviation Security Services Ltd, where they held two positions. Firstly, they worked as an Aviation Security Trainer from 2017 to 2020. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Duty Support Manager, overseeing various security operations within the airport, mentoring managers, and providing training for security staff.

In 2019, Lorraine moved to Transport Security Associates Group TSAG as a Training Standards and Compliance Manager until 2020, when they joined Westminster Group plc. At Westminster Group, they started as a Business Development Manager in 2020 and later assumed the role of Head of Sales in 2023.

Throughout their career, Lorraine has gained extensive experience in security, compliance, training, and management within the aviation and transportation sectors.

Lorraine Hellend completed their education at Woodway Park Coventry from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a degree of life. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several qualifications from the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom. In November 2014, they obtained recognition as a Firearms and Explosives Instructor for the department. In September 2014, they became certified as an Aviation General Security Awareness Instructor and an Aviation Ground Security Officer Instructor. In May 2015, they achieved certifications as an Aviation Ground Security Supervisor Instructor, an Aviation Security Manager Instructor, and a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM). Furthermore, in August 2015, they obtained a BTEC Level 3 Teaching certificate from BTEC Enterprise. Most recently, in September 2017, they obtained certifications as an Aviation Security Cargo Instructor and Aviation Security Cargo Manager from the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom.
