Scott Craig

Scott Craig is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in journalism and media relations. Since July 2005, Scott has served as the Manager of Media Relations at Westmont College and currently advises The Horizon, the college's student newspaper, since August 2023. From June 2007, Scott has been the Editor and Columnist of "Your Westmont," a weekly column for the Montecito Journal Media Group. Prior to these roles, Scott worked as a Television News Anchor at KFTY TV-50 from 2003 to 2005, where responsibilities included producing, writing, and reporting for the morning news. Additionally, Scott directed news operations at KVON/KVYN Radio from 1997 to 2003 and began a career in journalism as a News Reporter at Tri 102.5 FM/Eagle Country from 1993 to 1994. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from San Diego State University and an Associate’s degree in Journalism from Santa Barbara City College.
