Tammy Patterson

Tammy Patterson has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education and family services. Tammy started their career as the Executive Director at Little Peoples Educational Workshop in 1993 and held the position until 1999. Following this, they joined Brightside Academy as the Vice President of Operations in 1999 and remained in this role until 2016. In 2016, Tammy Patterson joined Westmoreland Community Action as the Vice President of Children & Family Services, where they continue to work.

Tammy Patterson obtained their Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Elementary Education in August 1993 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Tammy then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1993. Tammy also holds a State Board of Private Academic Schools Certificate for Nursery/Kindergarten, which they obtained in August 1995 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In addition to their degrees, Tammy Patterson has several certifications. Tammy earned a Pennsylvania Director Credential from Pennsylvania Early Learning Keys to Professional Development in January 2008. In September 2009, they became a Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System Certified Instructor, also from Pennsylvania Early Learning Keys to Professional Development. Furthermore, Tammy served as a Keystone STARS Re-visioning Team Member at The Pennsylvania Key in October 2016, and as a Board Member and Governance Committee Member at Laurel Legal Services Inc, which they obtained in April 2017.
