Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra
Amy Baker is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Nurse Coordinator in Gynecologic Oncology at UPMC since January 2020. Previous roles at UPMC include Senior Professional Staff Nurse in Oncology Collaborative and Professional Staff Nurse in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Amy has also worked as a Registered Nurse at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and Butler Health System. In addition to a robust nursing career, Amy is a dedicated musician, performing as a contrabassoonist/3rd bassoonist for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and as a bassoonist for the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing from Capella University, a Master of Music from Eastern Kentucky University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chatham University, a nursing diploma from UPMC St Margaret School of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Amy also holds an adjunct faculty position at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.

The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra, began in 1969 when a group of community leaders and musicians assembled an orchestra for several concerts at a local high school. Now, four decades later, the WSO brings world-class soloists to the concert stage.
