Brant Brown

Brant Brown has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Brant started their career as a Revenue Accountant at Williams Communications in 2001. Brant later joined Merit Energy Company as a Fund Analyst, handling oil and gas investment accounting. In 2005, they became the Director of Accounting at Ashford Hospitality Trust, a real estate investment trust focused on the hospitality industry. From 2007 to 2012, Brant worked at Invesco as the Director of Investment Performance, managing real estate investment performance and analytics. Brant then moved to Nationstar Mortgage as the Vice President of Finance, overseeing over $380 billion in residential mortgages. In 2014, they became a Board Member at Financial Executives International (FEI) - Dallas Chapter. Currently, Brant serves as the President & COO of Westmount Realty Capital, LLC, where they co-lead all investment and operational activities.

Brant Brown completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Accounting from The University of Kansas. Brant then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, specializing in Finance, from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they also attended the MBA Disney Institute Program, focusing on Creating and Sustaining a Service Culture. Additionally, Brant Brown obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Texas in December 2006. Brant also completed the Private Pilot License (PPL) from the Federal Aviation Administration, although the specific month and year are unknown.
