Dominik Coquette

Dominik Coquette is a doctoral candidate at Lehrstuhl für Ressourcen- und Energiesysteme, focusing on the spatial planning of sustainable hydrogen infrastructure since January 2022. With extensive experience as an Asset Management Engineer at Westnetz GmbH since May 2019, Coquette manages gas distribution grids and engages in hydrogen projects. Previous roles include research assistant at Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V., where Coquette conducted analysis for the STORE&GO project, and student researcher positions at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, which involved experimental research on renewable energies and multi-phase flows. Coquette holds a Master of Science in Energy and Process Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum and has developed skills in project management, GIS, renewable energy, and hydrogen technologies through diverse roles in the energy sector.
