Miriam Fair

Miriam Fair is a legal professional with extensive experience in school law, currently serving as a Partner at Weston Hurd since January 2023, where representation of school districts and post-secondary institutions in litigation and agency complaints is a primary focus. Prior to this role, Miriam held the position of Partner at Walter | Haverfield from November 2015 to January 2023, assisting school districts with educational and special education issues and resolving due process hearing requests. Previous roles include Associate Attorney at Britton Smith Peters & Kalail Co., L.P.A., where representation in trial and appellate courts for Boards of Education was emphasized, and a Legal Intern at the Ohio Department of Education. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, a Master’s and Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Tufts University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Barnard College.
