Steve Kuhr

Steve Kuhr was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January of 2022, joining Weston with 30 years of corporate financial experience in the environmental engineering and consulting industry. Before joining Weston, Steve spent 21 years with EA Engineering, Science & Technology, Inc. (EA) serving most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During his time at EA, Steve was responsible for oversight of corporate and operational accounting, financial planning and analysis, banking and investments, compliance, business systems, payroll, IT, procurement, facilities, and warehousing. Steve led multiple successful acquisitions in this role, making a significant contribution to EA’s strategic growth. In addition, he served as a Financial and Contracts manager for key client accounts including the EPA, USACE, and NAVFAC and was an officer and committee member for numerous affiliated companies and joint ventures. Steve serves on the Board of Directors of The Parks and People Foundation and is an active member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Council of Engineering Companies. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Seton Hall University and a Master of Science in Engineering, Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania.
