Thomas Graan

Thomas Graan is a seasoned environmental consultant with extensive experience in technical management and project oversight. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Manager at Weston Solutions, Inc. since August 2010, Thomas provides consulting support and field oversight for projects under the Superfund Technical Assessment & Response Team (START) Program, notably contributing to the Kalamazoo River/Enbridge Oil Spill response. Thomas's previous roles at Weston Solutions included Project Manager, where responsibility encompassed staffing, budgeting, technical execution, and client satisfaction, and Risk Assessor, focusing on human health and ecological risk assessments. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Plant Biochemistry/Physiology and a B.S. in Biological Sciences with High Honors, both from Michigan State University, and has research experience from Texas A&M University, the University of Delaware, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
