Mary Risner is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in development and annual giving. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Westover School since January 2021, Mary engages alumnae, parents, and friends in support of the institution. Mary has also contributed as a Consultant and Senior Faculty member at Annual Giving Network since September 2016, specializing in training and empowering fundraising staff and volunteers. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Brown Annual Fund, where Mary managed a comprehensive $45 million program, and Director of Class Giving and Reunion Programs at the University of Pennsylvania. With a strong background in annual giving and reunion fundraising at Franklin & Marshall College, as well as experience in business banking at PNC Bank, Fleet Bank, and Wachovia Bank, Mary possesses a well-rounded skill set in financial management and client relationship building. Mary holds a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
