Andrew Gibson

Andrew Gibson has a strong background in technology and data engineering. Andrew most recently worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Westpac New Zealand. Prior to that, they held the role of Lead Engineer - Adaptive Platform at Harmoney. Andrew also has experience as a Solution Architect at Be Intelligent and as an Application Architect at 9 Spokes. Andrew has a solid foundation in software development and architecture, previously working as a Senior SOA Developer and Architect at Bravura Solutions Ltd. Andrew began their career as a J2EE developer at Argent Networks Ltd and EDS NZ Ltd. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated a commitment to professional growth and development.

Andrew Gibson obtained a Diploma in Business Computing with Distinction from Auckland University of Technology from 1998 to 2001, specializing in Computer Science. In 2000, they also completed a course in Business Systems Analysis and Design at the same university. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Planning degree from The University of Auckland from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained certifications in Python for Data Science from UCSanDiegoX in 2019 and a Java Test Dome Certificate from Java Test Dome in 2018.
