Dinesh Magan

Dinesh Magan has extensive experience in finance and treasury roles. Dinesh served as the Head of Treasury Finance and Acting Senior Finance Business Partner at Westpac New Zealand. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance at China Construction Bank (NZ) Ltd, where they led the finance operation in New Zealand. Dinesh also worked at ASB Bank, where they held multiple senior roles in treasury financial control and accounting. Additionally, Dinesh Magan has experience in corporate accounting at Vero Insurance New Zealand, business analysis at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, and group corporate accounting at Swiss Re. Dinesh began their career as a Senior Financial Accountant at BT and worked as an Assistant Finance Manager at Balfour Beatty Capital.

Dinesh Magan earned a Certificate of International Treasury Management from the Associate Corporate of Treasurers in 2013. In 1995, they obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, they completed a Diploma in Accountancy from Unitec | Te Pūkenga, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
