Helen Ryder

Helen Ryder currently serves as the Managing Director of Consumer Bank and Wealth at Westpac since November 2023. Prior to this role, Helen held multiple leadership positions at Westpac New Zealand, including Head of Business and Head of Small Business from October 2020. Helen's extensive experience at Westpac Institutional Bank spanned over 17 years, involving key roles such as Head of Business, Wealth and Consumer for NZ Financial Markets, where responsibilities included overseeing the digital migration of customer transactions. Early career experiences included roles with Sumitomo Corporation Europe Limited as a Treasury Analyst and with ASB Bank in various customer-facing positions. Helen has an MBA from The University of Auckland and various professional qualifications in financial services and leadership.
