Michael Robinson

Michael Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they work at Westpac New Zealand as the Head of Digital Engineering. Prior to this, they held positions such as Chief Experience Officer - Engineering (Business) Acting and Software Factory, and Service Group Owner - Software Factory at the same company.

Before joining Westpac, Michael worked at TVNZ as the Head of Digital Capability and Head of Cloud Enablement. Michael also served as the Chapter Lead IT Applications & Development and Software Engineering Manager at Spark New Zealand.

In addition, Michael has worked as a Digital Solution Architect at Solnet Solutions and as a Digital Technical Lead at Datacom. Michael also had a previous stint at Solnet Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they took on leadership roles, facilitated digital seminars, and spearheaded internal change initiatives.

Michael's earlier work experience includes serving as the Technical Director at Brownpaperbag Ltd and as a Sole Trader at Code of Interest. Michael also worked as a Developer at PAN Media and Advertising and as the Vice President, Lead Development Engineer at ECPod.

Michael Robinson attended The University of Waikato from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) in Cognitive Science and a Graduate Diploma in Chinese.
