Ryan Pennington

Ryan Pennington possesses extensive experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Senior Manager - Compliance Oversight at Westpac New Zealand since October 2017, with previous roles including Acting Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Manager - Compliance Oversight. Prior to joining Westpac, Ryan held the position of Enterprise Compliance Officer at GE Capital International, overseeing compliance across EMEA and Asia. Additional expertise includes a Compliance Consultant role in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on compliance frameworks for Consumer and Commercial businesses. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Waikato and completed the Professional Legal Studies Course at the College of Law.
