Amir Monfared

Amir Monfared is a Senior Data Scientist at Westpac, with prior experience at Macquarie Group, where contributions included the development of data-driven solutions through machine learning models, insightful dashboards, and mentoring junior data scientists. Amir's earlier role as a Data Scientist at UNSW involved extensive work with SQL and Power BI to extract data and create dashboards. With over five years in data analysis and education, Amir has also served as head tutor for a large engineering course and guest lecturer in advertising analytics. Amir holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from UNSW, a Master's degree from Sharif University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree from Shiraz University.
