Andrew Whyte

Andrew Whyte is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Director in the Chief Investment Office at Westpac since May 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Vice President - FX Sales Trader at State Street from November 2021 to May 2023. Andrew's extensive background in portfolio management includes significant roles at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, where roles spanned from Dealer/Analyst to Adviser, covering various aspects of financial markets from December 2017 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes a tenure as FX Dealer in Financial Markets at Westpac Institutional Bank. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Otago and participated in a Track and Field Scholarship in Economics at The University of Texas at Austin.
