Ewan Black

Ewan Black is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and operations within the banking sector. Currently serving as the National Operations Manager for Specialised Lending and Transactional Banking and as Chief Credit Officer for South Australia and Northern Territory at Westpac since July 2017, Ewan oversees commercial credit and credit risk. Previously, Ewan held the position of Head of Asset Quality Assurance at National Australia Bank from August 2015 to July 2017, and served as Chief Credit Officer and OREO Manager at Great Western Bank from November 2010 to January 2015. Ewan's earlier career includes an executive role at NAB from June 2007 to November 2010. Ewan's educational background includes a Juris Doctor with Distinction from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, an MBA from the University of Adelaide, a Chartered Accountant designation, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Flinders University.
