Izabela Sobieraj

Izabela Sobieraj currently holds the position of Associate Director - Treasury at Westpac since July 2025 and serves as an Associate Lecturer at Arden University within the Faculty of Business. Prior to these roles, Izabela was employed at Deutsche Börse from February 2020 to July 2025, where responsibilities included positions as Associate Vice President and Senior Associate in the Treasury Front Office. Earlier experience includes a role as an Analyst at Apex Group Ltd focused on private equity depositary responsibilities, and as an Analyst in the Risk Division at Goldman Sachs concentrating on liquidity risk. Initial professional experience was gained at Bosch, working as a Project Management Assistant and in Sales & Project Management. Izabela's academic qualifications encompass a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology of Societal & Organizational Behaviour, a Master of Science in Accounting & Financial Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies.
