Nitzan Melamed

Nitzan Melamed has over 20 years of experience in financial markets and risk management, currently serving as Controller for Market Data Analysis at Westpac since May 2008, where responsibilities include leading a significant compliance project and managing Market Data Analysis operations. Previously, Nitzan held the role of Acting Head of Middle Office, directly reporting to the CFO of Westpac Institutional Bank, responsible for the oversight of fair value frameworks and balance sheet controls. Nitzan's earlier roles include Senior Manager of Model Risk Review at Westpac, overseeing a team responsible for the validation of crucial financial models, and a researcher at Riskmetrics Group, focusing on financial modeling for risk management solutions. Nitzan holds a PhD in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
