Paul Cassidy

Paul Cassidy has extensive experience in the tax and finance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Tax Operations and Compliance at Westpac since November 2008. In this role, Paul has led various initiatives, including the Income Tax Lead for the ATO justified trust project and has acted as a Tax Subject Matter Expert for tax software implementation and the CBC project. Prior to Westpac, Paul worked at Deutsche Bank as a Product Controller, overseeing daily P&L preparations for the credit derivatives desk. Earlier experiences include serving as a Tax Manager at PwC and as an English Teacher Assistant in France, along with a solid academic foundation with a Graduate Diploma in Taxation from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration with Honours from Victoria University of Wellington.
