Brittany Coker

Dean, Upper School Student Activities at Westridge

Brittany came to Westridge in 2008 as an 7th grade life science teacher before transitioning to Upper School science. In addition to teaching, she has served as an Upper School advisor and technology mentor for other faculty members, helping to integrate new learning technologies throughout the curriculum. Prior to Westridge, she taught biology and life science at Azusa High School for two years. She received her M.S. in biology from Clemson University and currently, she is Westridge's dean of Upper School student activities. Brittany also has one of the most colorful careers paths among Westridge faculty members: previously she worked as an exotic animal keeper and trainer.
