Tamara Shahar Jaffe

Tam is a Westridge alumna, coach (horizontal jumps), and long-time substitute teacher. In 2021, Tam became the dean of Lower & Middle School Student Voices, and works closely with Westridge leadership and Upper School co-dean of Student Voices to coordinate the many aspects of student diversity work for Westridge’s Lower and Middle Schools, including affinity groups. Her additional experience in education includes serving as an instructional aid and care team member at the Santa Clarita Valley International Charter School and as the GED administrative assistant at Los Angeles Valley College. She earned a B.A. in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara.
