Alex Pease

Alex Pease is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of WestRock. Alex has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in finance, strategy, and operations.

Pease began their career as a Navy SEAL, serving for six years. Alex then transitioned to McKinsey & Company, where they worked as a partner for seven years. In 2011, they joined EnPro Industries Inc. as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Alex served in this role for four years before moving to Snyder's-Lance, Inc. as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Pease held this position for two years before joining CommScope in April 2018 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In November 2021, Pease joined WestRock as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Alex is responsible for leading the finance function and partnering with the CEO and other members of the executive leadership team on strategy and operations.

Alex Pease's educational career includes a Master's of Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy.

Alex Pease reports to David B. Sewell, CEO. and James Armstrong - Vice President, Investor Relations reports to Alex Pease. They are on a team with Vicki Lostetter - CHRO, Tom Stigers - EVP, Containerboard Mills, and Patrick Kivits - President, Corrugated Packaging.
