John Cleland

John Cleland is currently a General Manager for Smurfit Westrock's Hamilton & Whitehaven Composite Tubes, bringing over 20 years of experience in the print and packaging industry. Previously, John held several roles, including Plant Manager at WestRock Company and Production Manager at Multi Packaging Solutions. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement and building trust-based relationships with teams and stakeholders. John achieved the notable recognition of EMEA Plant of the Year in their first year as a plant manager. John also earned an ECDL from Motherwell College.
