Tarak Patel

Tarak Patel is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in technology leadership and transformations within major organizations. Currently serving as Vice President IT at Smurfit Westrock since March 2021, Tarak previously held the role of Vice President Information Technology at E. & J. Gallo Winery from September 2015 to March 2021, where significant contributions were made to the renowned family-owned wine company. Prior to this, Tarak worked at Henkel for eight years in various capacities, including Director of Global Supply Chain Transformation and Business Unit IT Director, focusing on technology-driven initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Earlier experience includes roles at IBM, managing strategic projects, and as a Software Engineer at SAIC, where a prestigious internship was completed. Tarak holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
