Tom Stigers

Tom Stigers is executive vice president of Containerboard Mills, and leads the company’s engineering and technical resource groups. Previously he was executive vice president of Corrugated Paper Solutions for WestRock, and was executive vice president, mill operations for RockTenn. Tom joined RockTenn in 2008 with the acquisition of Southern Container Corp., where he served as vice president of Solvay Paperboard. Tom has worked in the paper industry since 1987 in various leadership roles with Champion International, Simpson, Donohue and Abitibi-Consolidated. He began his career in the aerospace industry.

Tom earned bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering from Clarkson University and paper science and engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, as well as a master of business administration from Adelphi University.
