Emily Hoefs

Emily Hoefs, OTD, OTR/L, is a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist with experience at Westside Children's Therapy since November 2020 and a previous role at La Grange School District #102. As an Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student at Midwestern University, Emily conducted a doctoral internship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on mental health group programming for stem cell transplant patients. Fieldwork experiences include evaluations and treatments across various settings, including spinal cord injury rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, and community integration programs. Emily holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa, complemented by a Certificate in Disability Studies and experience as an On Site Supervisor at Kids Care Iowa City.
